The Kool Kidz Foundation is comprised of dedicated members of the Atlanta metropolitan community who feel strongly about providing superior programs and facilities for children and young adults, especially those children and young adults that face challenges in the physical, social, cognitive and emotional domains. We serve to fill the large gap in services and facilities available to those who may fall outside the upper-middle class, able-bodied norm.

History
The therapists of Kool Kidz, Inc. have been providing pediatric physical therapy to Atlanta children in their natural environment since 1998.

The catalyst for forming the Kool Kidz Foundation, Inc. was when this group of therapists noticed a huge gap in facilities and services available for children in their community who fell outside the norm of their able-bodied peers. This included a complete lack of summer programs, competitive sports programs, and recreational activities for children with physical, social, cognitive and emotional challenges. The children they were treating were improving and ready to move on to community activities; however, there were no such community programs for these children.

Therefore, the Kool Kidz Foundation was formed to not only provide parallel programs for children who were not eligible for existing services, but also to create an environment where all children could learn and play together without limitations.
